The Singing Children of Kenya

Come and join us on The Celebration Tour on Monday 29th September at 7pm!   The Singing Children of Kenya are returning to the UK but this will be their first concert in Rushmoor! Tickets £7 per adult / £4 per child

Choir members shine in vibrant traditional attire during their 2025 dress rehearsal at school, showcasing their unity and cultural richness.

Join us on Monday 29th September for an evening of singing and dancing from the Singing Children of Kenya, their final concert before they depart home to Mombasa, Kenya.

This concert is showcasing the amount of joy music can bring to both our own local communities and that of Jolaurabi School.  All proceeds will go to Educate the Kids. There will be an opportunity to purchase light refreshments and support 'Light Up a Child's Life' by raising money to purchase solar lights for the children of Jolaurabi and their families.

The Singing Children of Kenya attend the School near Mombasa, Kenya, supported by the charity Educate the Kids.  Educate the Kids is all about giving the poorest children, who live in the villages surrounding Jolaurabi School, the opportunity of a hand up through education rather than a hand out. They encourage their children to be the best that they can be, so they in turn can care for their family. Please see below, some photos from the children's journey to the UK. The children have not experienced so many things that we take for granted in our lives from gadgets through to shopping centres and different forms of transport.
