About Us
Visit North Camp Association “the Association”The Association is a not-for-profit organisation. All income and property of the Association shall be applied solely towards the aims and objectives stated above. No portion of funds shall be distributed to members, except as reasonable reimbursement for services or expenses incurred on behalf of the Association.
The aims “the Association" is to:

Promote and support all businesses within the North Camp area, including those without a physical storefront.

Increase public awareness and footfall in the North Camp "village" through a coordinated programme of promotion, marketing and community engagement.

Champion independent businesses, promoting North Camp as a hub of unique, locally owned shops and services.

Create and maintain a digital directory to list and promote all member businesses via the Association's website and digital platforms.

Represent and protect the interests of local and long-established businesses.

Advocate for infrastructure improvements, such as pavements, lighting, parking andaccessibility, to ensure North Camp remains a safe and welcoming environment for all.

Foster a spirit of community involvement and shared identity among local residents and businesses.

Collaborate constructively with local authorities and partner organisations to ensuresustainable development and funding support for the area.

Enhance the area’s attractiveness and amenities for residents and visitors, contributing to the economic growth and vitality of North Camp.

Apply for grants, sponsorships and external funding from the council, charitable bodies and corporate partners to maximise resources. Any surplus funds not required for active or upcoming initiatives shall be held in reserve for future use or applied to reduce membership fees for the following year.

Use member contributions and other funds to support marketing, events, beautification and other improvement initiatives.
Membership
Membership shall be open to all businesses operating within the North Camp area regardless of size or physical presence (e.g. service-based or home-based businesses are welcome) as the Committee recognises the importance of inclusive participation in building a vibrant business community.
Subscription fees will ideally be set at £0 encouraging maximum participation but this proposal will be reviewed and discussed by the Committee on an annual basis, with a focus on affordability, fairness, and sustainability.
Membership tiers or optional contributions may be introduced if additional funding is needed for specific projects.
